Stop motion animation can be done using many different materials and objects which allows a lot of creativity to be used when making a short film or advert.
Right said Fred animation:
In the following animation, lego has been used to make an animation to the song ‘Right said Fred’ and the animation is fluid and works well with the song. I like the different camera angles and scenes that have been built for this animation because it gives it more depth and makes it more interesting to watch.
I like this Stop motion animation because it is different to a lot of stop motion animations because one of the most common stop motion materials to use is clay.

Pingu Animation:
Pingu is a widely known kids show. This stop motion animation was done using clay and each episode was 5 minutes each.
This was a very original stop motion animation and it was done entirely made of clay and the characters in it have a wide variety of expressions and movements which make it very complex and very interesting to watch and see how carefully and how fluidly it runs.

Robot chicken:
This Stop motion animation was done by using custom made action figures and sets. The complexity and the scripting for it is amazing and so original and funny. The duration of this is 7 minutes long and it would of taken a lot longer to shoot seeing as its a stop motion animation.
This Stop motion animation is unique because it also included animated/visual graphics which were edited on after all the photos were taken.
